Private Alliance:
It is being created in collaboration with a private company, Cordelia Cruises, and will be India's first indigenous cruise liner.
The luxury cruise vessel will be promoted and marketed by Cordelia Cruises.
It will stop in places like Diu, Lakshadweep, Kochi, and Sri Lanka.
Expansion of Destinations
In the first phase, the ship would be based in Mumbai and will travel to Indian destinations.
The base will move to Chennai in May 2022, with new destinations in Sri Lanka including Colombo, Galle, Trincomalee, and Jaffna.
Amenities As Well As Health Protection
Restaurants, a swimming pool, restaurants, open cinemas, a theatre, a children's section, and a gymnasium are just a few of the attractions available to guests.
As required by the government, the entire team will be completely vaccinated, and the number of guests will be limited.
Onboard, there is a fully working medical centre with all of the necessary medical equipment.
The IRCTC tourism website is currently accepting bookings for October 2021-October 2022.
