People who want to buy online railway tickets using the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation's portal would see these results (IRCTC). People ordering tickets after a long period of time will have to go through a verification process first, and only then will they be able to book the tickets, according to the organization's new advertisement. IRCTC has ensured that the process is simple and quick, taking about 50-60 seconds to finish.

How to get your details verified?

A verification window will appear after you log into the portal. We are requested to enter the already registered email address and phone number here. The edit option is on the left side of the window, while the verification button is on the right. By clicking the edit option, you can also alter the details, such as your email and phone number.

When you're pleased with the information, select the verification option. An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the phone number you provided. The mobile number will be validated after inputting the OTP. For the verification of the email address, a similar procedure will be used.

How to get tickets booked online?

Indian Railways offers tickets online via the IRCTC website.

The train service requires passengers to create a login id and password on the portal. A login ID and password can be created after supplying the information.
