The Indian automobile sector appears to be poised to shake off the sluggishness brought on by the coronavirus outbreak. The auto industry is humming with news of new automobile models being introduced by various manufacturers. And how can we expect Tata to take a back seat in that rage?

Tata Motors kicked off the New Year with a bang, introducing the Safari SUV, a seven-seater SUV. It has aided the TATAs in expanding their market share in the rapidly rising SUV segment. The corporation is planning the launch of another SUV to strengthen its position in the SUV industry.

In the new Avatar, there's an SUV:

This time, the SUV isn't a standard or tiny model. This time, the SUV is a miniature version. Yes, you heard (read) it correctly! Tata Motors is developing a mini SUV called the Tata HBX. The term "micro SUV" may be unfamiliar to most Indians, but Tata's are come to change that.

At first sight, this Micro SUV appears to be a cross between an SUV and a hatchback, with a design that is heavily influenced by compact SUVs.

This vehicle will compete with similar vehicles on the market, such as the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV NXT. Because the company is attempting to get into the market aggressively, the automobile will be priced aggressively in the Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 7 lakh range.

The car is likely to be released in the months of November and December, when consumer sentiment is at its peak due to the holiday season.

HBX in a flash:

The engine is the heart of any car, and this one is believed to have a 1.2-liter engine. Tiago and Altroz are both using the same engine. A turbocharged engine could also be included in the high-end version of the automobile. Sharp-looking LED daytime running lights, a sloped front windscreen, freshly designed alloy wheels, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility for top-end variations are all essential features of the automobile.

Due to the fact that this is the second model based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform, it may receive a higher safety rating. Altroz, the platform's predecessor, had similarly obtained a Five Star rating.
