Oppo India, a prominent smartphone manufacturer, has stated that it has undertaken a 5G Standalone Network trial for the Reno6 series with Reliance Jio, India's largest cellular operator. 5G trials have begun in a few places around the country, thanks to Reliance Jio and other telecom carriers. Oppo reacted to the recent development, stating that the 5G SA trials generated really great results that will help the 5G network develop. The Oppo Reno6 series 5G smartphones are priced between Rs 29,900 to Rs 39,990, for those who are unaware.
The Oppo Reno6 Series 5G Bands Will Kickstart the 5G Device Ecosystem
The Reno6 comes with 13 5G bands, whilst the Reno6 Pro includes 11, 5G bands. Oppo hopes to expand its role in the development of the 5G device ecosystem in India with the new offering, allowing users to experience the complete potential and benefits of 5G when it becomes available in the country.
Oppo India Vice-President and Head (Research and Development) Tasleem Arif stated that Oppo India is working hard to advance the 5G rollout in India and make it accessible to all. He also mentioned that the Reno6 series' 5G Standalone Network experiment with Reliance Jio is part of the company's in-depth research into the 5G ecosystem in order to provide users with an immersive experience. Oppo's commitment to providing cutting-edge technology to its users is demonstrated by the successful 5G SA trials.

For 5G trials in India, the Department of Telecom has allotted spectrum in the mid-band (3.2 GHz to 3.67 GHz), the millimetre-wave band (24.25 GHz to 28.5 GHz), and sub-gigahertz band (700 MHz). Oppo has stated that its 5G innovation laboratories in India are committed to laying the groundwork for 5G SA network trials. Oppo has introduced six 5G smartphones in India this year. Not only that, but the smartphone maker has set aside Rs 2,200 crore for the production of 5G smartphones at its Greater Noida manufacturing facility. Oppo is also likely to make further investments in the fast-paced Indian market in order to provide better products and services.
